The State of DEI and Implications for the Workplace

Friday, June 6, 2025 | 2:00 PM EDT - 3:45 PM EDT
In February and March 2025, President Donald J. Trump began issuing actions and executive orders condemning "all discriminatory programs, including illegal DEI and 'diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility' (DEIA) mandates, policies, programs." This workshop will provide an overview of court decisions concerning the executive orders and an opportunity to discuss how to ensure equal justice and a workplace free from discrimination consistent with federal and state law.

This program is co-sponsored by Rutgers Law School’s Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations and Institute for Professional Education. The presentation is part of the Rutgers Law School reunion celebrations for the classes of 1975, 1980, 1985, 1995, 2005, and 2015. It will be live in Newark for reunion guests and a Zoom webinar for all others. If you prefer to attend in person, email ipe@law.rutgers.edu.
