Blind Injustice: Wrongful Convictions and Criminal Justice Reform (Zoom)
Wednesday, October 15, 2025 | 12:30 PM EDT - 1:50 PM EDT
Join us for a lunchtime event exploring the human cost of wrongful convictions and the need for criminal justice reform. The program features Mark Godsey, law professor, former federal prosecutor, and author of Blind Injustice, alongside Nancy Smith, an Ohio Innocence Project exoneree who spent nearly 15 years wrongfully imprisoned. This event offers a rare opportunity to hear firsthand how systemic flaws can devastate lives, and how resilience and advocacy can lead to justice.
Co-sponsored by the New Jersey Innocence Project at Rutgers University, and Rutgers Law School's Center on Criminal Justice, Youth Rights, and Race, and Institute for Professional Education.
