This program will explore ways that immigration laws could be fairer and just through a discussion of Professor Hiroshi Motomura's book, "Borders and Belonging: Toward a Fair Immigration Policy." Professor Motomura and a distinguished panel will examine the tension between the nation's interest in protecting its borders and responding to the human needs of migrants.
